These days, a delegation of Goskomstat employees is participating in meetings to study the experience of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus on conducting a census organized in Minsk (Belarus).
These meetings were organized by the representative office of the United Nations Population Fund in Uzbekistan and employees Yuldoshev Z., Sidikov T. and Sidikov O. from the Department of Statistics of Demography and Labor, Kuznetsov M. from the Department of Information and Development communication technologies and interactive public services, K. Saparov from the department for monitoring and coordination of the open data portal from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics and O. Abdurakhmonov from the city statistics department Tashkent.
During the meetings, knowledge and experience are studied on topical issues related to the development of methodological and legal regulations on population censuses, the compilation of a population census program, the approbation of a population census procedure, and data collection and processing software.
The importance of these meetings in Minsk for the State Committee on Statistics is that the 2022 population census in our country plays an important role in studying the best practices of the CIS countries, in particular the Republic of Belarus, and in applying modern information and communication technologies.
