The technical assistance mission of the World Bank Group led by Mustafa Dinc, Senior Economist / Specialist for Statistics of the World Bank Department, began its work from 9 to 13 December 2019 in the Goskomstat.
The main goal of the mission is to prepare the final version of the draft National Strategy for Statistics Development of Uzbekistan for 2020-2025.
On the first day of the mission, negotiations were held with the Chairman of the Goskomstat Bakhodir Abdusalomovich Begalov.
In the framework of the consultations a Workshop on discussion of final version of the draft National Strategy for the Statistics Development (2020-2025) will be held on 11 December.
The mission plans to continue working with the main departments of the Central Office on the most key issues of statistical practice to complete work on the Draft National Strategy for Statistics Development for 2020-2025.
