From 13 to 15 November 2019, a training course on "Statistical indicators"was held at the Swiss Federal statistics office in Neuchatel (Switzerland).
The event was attended by employees of statistical organizations from Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan).
In the training course from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics took part Akmal Umarov - Head of statistics service sector and Oybek Rustamov, Deputy head of Department consolidated information of the work - Head of summarization of operational data and indicative indicators.
During the training course, participants were provided with information on the theoretical and methodological basis for the development of indicator systems and on cooperation between indicator users and statistical authorities in the production of indicators.
The program also included lectures and seminars, discussions and exchange of experience.
