From November 14 to November 15, 2019, an international conference on the digital agenda for statistics was organized in Moscow (Russian Federation): efficiency, quality and openness. This conference was organized by the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (ROSSTAT), G.V. Russian University of Economics Plekhanov.

The Deputy Chairman M. Ziyadullaev took part in this event from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics. Also, the event was attended by the head of the Information Security Directorate of the Goskomstat Sh. Dzhanadilov and the chief specialist of the Department for the Formation of Consolidated Analytical Information on Population Statistics, Demography and labor of the Goskomstat Z. Khudayarov.

The conference was attended by representatives of such countries as Canada, Estonia, Poland, China, the Russian Federation, the Netherlands, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation , United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, Eurasian Economic Commission, Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, International Ally Fund and other international organizations.

Digitalization issues discussed during the seminar in statistics, measuring the digital economy, electronic population census, monitoring the SDG indicators, national reporting platforms, and proposals were made to improve digital ecosystems in ensuring the openness of statistical data, as well as during the population census.
