From November 11 to November 15, 2019, the 6th Regional Training Course on the National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS) and Advanced Data Planning Tool (ADAPT) for the countries of the Asia and Pacific was held in Chiba, Japan.

The course was organized by the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (SIAP) in collaboration with the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century Consortium (Paris21).

23 representatives from 12 countries in Asia and the Pacific region were attended the training course. From the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics participated Mamadaliev Odiljon Toirovich - Head of the Department of Information Dissemination, International Cooperation and Data Exchange.

The main purpose of the course is to strengthen the capacity of National Statistical Offices and National Planning Offices in Asia and the Pacific in data planning and developing a National Strategy for the Development of Statistics, taking into account national data priorities and needs.

Following the results of the course, participants were awarded the appropriate certificates.
