In the State Committee on Statistics, the head of the department of the Office of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts U. Obidov made a presentation on the topic “Financial Programming and Politics” based on the results of participation in a course organized by the International Monetary Fund from October 21 to November 1, 2019 at the Joint Vienna Institute in Vienna, Austria.
During the presentation, U. Obidov informed about the work carried out abroad on macroeconomic sectors and their interconnections, diagnostics of macroeconomic indicators, ways to achieve internal and external stability and balance in the country's economy. He also emphasized his knowledge and experience on this topic. The discussions addressed issues that need to be incorporated into statistical practice.
