On November 4, 2019, representatives of the delegation of the Government Communications Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain held a seminar at the State Committee on Statistics.
At the seminar, the issues of mutual cooperation and exchange of information between the State Committee on Statistics and the Government Communications Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain were considered.
At the event, the participants, divided into groups, presented proposals for compliance with the principles of efficiency, openness and transparency in the publication of information.
In addition, representatives of the delegation of the Government Communications Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain – Adam Thorndike and Nina Peroneus shared experience of the UK to promote the development of activities of Information service of the State Committee on Statistics., and also discussed issues of assistance in improving the work of the Open Data Portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following the results of the seminar, the representatives of delegation of the Government Communications Service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain thanked the senior executives of the State committee on statistics for organizing the meeting and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
