The work of a group of experts from the CIS Statistical Committee and the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus was completed, which was carried out as part of a specially organized visit to Uzbekistan on October 14-15 of this year. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the participation of our country in the International Comparison Program in the CIS region according to data for 2017 (ICP CIS 2017).

During the meeting, they considered not only issues on the main agenda, but also other relevant aspects of statistical activity.

In particular, the problematic parts related to monitoring consumer prices for certain types of goods and services, the peculiarities of their registration, selection of sources, data validation were touched.

In addition, special attention was paid to the disaggregation of GDP in the household and public sectors.

During the two-day visit, the parties exchanged views and shared their experiences on the agenda. The meetings were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

At the final stage, issues of further cooperation of the CIS Statistical Committee, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Belarus and the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed.
