On September 24 of the current year, the seminar took place in the State committee on statistics, it was dedicated to the results of the meeting held in Geneva (Switzerland) on matters of population and housing censuses and to the results of the meeting held in Bangkok (Thailand) on the matters of registration of acts of civil status and vital statistics.
At the seminar deputy head of Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Works – Tulyaganov A. and head of Division of formation of consolidated analytical information on population, demography and labour statistics – Yuldoshev Z., deputy head of Division for Formation of Indicators of Balance of Labour, Employment and Remuneration of Labour - Tashmukhamedov U. laid out in detail the main provisions for preparing and conducting the population census in the CIS countries, as well as of the procedure related to registration of acts of civil status, organization of interagency electronic interaction.
In the course of a seminar, an active discussion on the above-mentioned themes took place, the recommendations on putting into practice the acquired knowledge and skills based on international experience were given.
