On September 10 of the current year, a seminar was organized for the staff of the Central office of the State committee on statistics on the theme "System of ecological and economic accounting and environmental statistics" by a specialist of the Department of agricultural and ecology statistics, who participated in a seminar on the system of ecological and economic accounting and environmental statistics for sustainable development goals (SDGs) held in Chiba (Japan) on September 2-6.
The information was presented on the production of selected indicators using national statistics, the acquisition of main knowledge and skills on the principles of accounting and on the definition of main data necessary for compiling the ecological and economic reports.
In addition to it, the detailed information on issues related to building the potential capacity of ecological indicators and the development of a compilation of statistical indicators at the international level related to environmental statistics was provided.
At the end of the seminar, the detailed answers were given for questions which were asked by colleagues.
