On September 9 of the current year, a seminar was held at the State Statistics Committee on the results of the round table held in the city of Nur-Sultan on the registration of acts of civil status, elimination of statelessness, and population registration.
At the seminar, Deputy Head of the Demographic Indicators Formation Division of the Office of Demographic Statistics and labor statistics Satvaldiev Rakhimjon reported in detail about the role of birth registration and citizenship issues in census questionnaires in preventing statelessness.
During the seminar, information was also given on advanced international recommendations on introducing into practice the knowledge and skills on the registration of acts of civil status, citizenship issues in the census received in the workshop.
