From September 2 to September 6 of 2019, Kunming (People's Republic of China) hosted the International Forum “Asian Evaluation Week-2019”. The international forum was organized by the Asian Development Bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China.
This international forum was attended by over 200 representatives from more than 50 countries (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Georgia, Sri Lanka, Japan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, the Philippines, Samoa, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Colombia, Mexico, South Africa, The Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan and etc.) and from more than 35 international organizations of the world (ADB, IMF, FAO, UNICEF, CLEAR (Learning Center for Assessment and Results), IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) and etc.).
International Forum “Asian Assessment Week - 2019” is an assessment sharing event that this year focused on quality evaluation for better results: local, national, regional perspectives. The event discussed different approaches to assessment in different countries, the role of evaluation results in decision-making, as well as issues of assessing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The forum served as a platform for representatives of different countries and experts, a place to demonstrate progress in their assessment work and to exchange experience of modern assessment practices.
At this international forum participated Deputy Head of the Department of Information Dissemination, International Cooperation and Data Exchange of the State Committee on Statistics - Noipov Ulugbek Atkhamjon ugli.
