On August 8, 2019, a seminar was held in the khokimiyat of the Khorezm region with the participation of the first deputies of district (city) khokims, representatives of the territorial statistical agencies, cadastre, self-government bodies, as well as representatives of territorial commissions.
The seminar was dedicated to the preparation and conduct of the census.
In this seminar, the head of the Department of Statistics of Demography and Labor of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics K. Berdikulov made a speech on the work done on the census. He emphasized the need, first of all, to solve problematic issues in the field, and then move on to practical actions.
During the seminar, representatives of the territorial commissions made proposals for the preparation of a census. And also, detailed answers to questions from participants were given.
