On August 1, 2019, in the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics the seminar was held on the theme "Problems of adapting statistical analysis to world standards". The seminar  was attended by the staff of the central office of the Committee.

Tursun Shodiyev - Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of  the Chair  UNESCO at Westminster International University in Tashkent spoke at the seminar.

The main purpose of the event is further to enhance the effectiveness of statistical analysis methods in the field of statistics, and to discuss in detail the challenges that need to be brought to conformity with today's international standards.

 During the seminar it was focused on the work done and the current shortcomings in adapting  the analysis of the data obtained with statistical observations to international standards.

It was also noted that it is important to standardize and group the analyzed indicators according to clear aspects, as well as to take into account the participation of the shadow economy when making calculations.
