On July 12, in Fergana Regional Statistics Department, a specialist of the State Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a field workshop on organization of the data collection for price monitoring and the consumer price index, the formation of average consumer prices in accordance with the recommendations of international standards, as well as the effective use of modern technology in collecting and processing data.
During the workshop, the specialists of the Price statistics department of the Fergana Regional Statistics Department, the heads of territorial departments of the statistics department, and price collectors were given explanations on price registration in the consumer sector, selection of objects for observation, formation of average prices and effective use of tablet devices while providing consumer price monitoring.
