On the 9th of July this year, a seminar was held dedicated to the priority tasks identified by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 219 No. DP -5729 “On measures to further improve the anti-corruption system in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
At this seminar, it was said that further raising the legal awareness and legal culture of the population, strengthening the society’s intolerant attitude towards corruption, increasing the accountability and transparency of the activities of state bodies and organizations, forming a public service system based on a transparent procedure for competitive selection, appointment and promotion of public servants they are priority directions of the state policy in the field of countering corruption in the medium term.
Also at the seminar, special attention was paid to the discussion of the tasks set in the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2019-2020, approved by a presidential decree.
In addition, the participants familiarized with the results of the measures undertaken for the implementation of this Decree.
