On 18-19 June this year, a training course for representatives of CIS statistical bodies was organized in Moscow. The event was held jointly with the CIS Committee on statistics.
The international seminar was attended by the head of the information security Department of the state statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Janadilov and the head of the Department of information and communication technologies and interactive public services Sh. Odilov.
The training courses provided a broad explanation for the improvement of the CIS statistical infrastructure and the development of the CIS statistics Committee web portal. Also had practical recommendations for the collection, processing, analysis and publication of consolidated reports using the web-portal of statistics of the CIS countries and on the web site of the Committee.
The seminar participants also got acquainted with the process of preparation of reports based on the analysis and visualization of model statistical data by employees of the company “Systematics”, which developed the portal
Using the acquired knowledge and skills, experience, the State Committee on statistics also has the opportunity to create a single database for the provision of statistics to international organizations. In particular, the integration of data on the official website of the Committee for the placement of data in SDMX format and the exchange of data with international statistical organizations; the enrichment of the statistical data presented on the website with animated graphs and charts, as well as providing users with graphs in a more interesting form; the personal account of entrepreneurs on the website can be improved on the basis of the technology developed by the web portal of the Committee on statistics of the CIS.
