On June 21, 2019, a round table on the topic “System of National Statistics: Theory and Practice” was held at the Andizhan Machine-Building Institute. The event was organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, jointly with the Andizhan Region Statistics Department and the Andizhan Machine-Building Institute.
The event was attended by the first deputy chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, B. Mirusmanov, the head of the Department of Information Dissemination, International Cooperation and Information Exchange, O. Mamadaliev, and senior officials, the management of the Andizhan region statistics department, heads of sectoral and territorial statistical departments and their employees, management of Andizhan Machine-Building Institute, teachers and students, as well as regional representatives of mass media.
During the event, information was provided by representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics on ongoing large-scale reforms in the field of statistics and further plans, representatives of the Andizhan region Statistics Department on organizational arrangements for preparing for the census of 2022.
Also, the participants of the event were provided with a statistical analysis of the socio-economic development of the Andizhan region in the form of diagrams and infographics.
Participants received comprehensive answers to all questions during the event.
