From 4 to 7 June 2019, a training course was held in the city of Kiev (Ukraine) for countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) on the topic “Control over the disclosure of statistical information”. The training course was organized by the Statistical Office of the European Union (EUROSTAT).
- J.Saidov, Chief Specialist of the Division for the Coordination of Information and Analytical Works and the Preparation of Reports, took part in this event from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
The training was attended by 26 specialists and heads of statistical services from different countries, in particular, the Republic of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and other countries, as well as experts from Eurostat, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and other international organizations.
During the training, national and regional practices, results of monitoring the disclosure of confidential statistical information in the production of official statistics, problems and strategies for developing software to protect statistical data that will contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive framework for the protection of confidential data were presented and discussed. Also, methods for controlling information related to the protection of tabular data and the protection of micro data were discussed.
