On April 9-12, 2019, the meeting of the Experts Group on National Accounts was held in the city of Geneva (Switzerland). The event was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the European Free Trade Association and Eurostat.
At the Experts Group Meeting participated Deputy Head of the Division for Formation and Analysis of Macroeconomic Indicators of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics Z.A.Kamilova.
Representatives of national statistical services and the Central Bank of CIS countries and abroad, as well as experts from the UNECE, IMF, Eurostat, the World Bank and several international organizations attended the meeting.
The main objective of the meeting was to exchange the experience of specialists from UNECE member countries in implementing the provisions of the Guidelines for Measuring Global Production, as well as identifying specific responses to complex tasks faced by compilers of national accounts and balance of payments in collecting global production. It also presented the latest international initiatives related to the development of global accounts and promotion of research program of the Guide to Measuring Global Production.
