On February 12-13 of this year, a training course was organized by the International Energy Agency for the statistical offices of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia in the city of Tbilisi (Georgia). The training course was attended by experts from the statistical offices of 10 countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia) and experts from Eurostat, the International Energy Agency and the EU4Energy program. From the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan took part - Head of Energy Statistics, Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency Calculations H. Jalilov. In this connection, on February 22 of the current year a round table was held at the State Statistics Committee to inform the statistics system staff about the skills and knowledge gained during the course.

 The round table emphasized the importance of using the experience of leading countries in the preparation, analysis and processing of data on energy efficiency statistics. They were also informed about the main projects on energy efficiency of buildings and on new methods used in world experience in determining the enormous cost of buildings.

During the conversation, explanations were given to the staff of the committee on issues of interest to them.
