From January 21 to February 1, 2019, the Asian Development Bank organized a training in the framework of the “Technical Assistance Project on Capacity and Knowledge (KSTA) 9356-REG (Development Data)” in the State Committee on Statistics.
The mission is represented by ADB specialists: Mahinthan Joseph Mariasingham - Statistician and Project Officer, Nikko Angelo D. Antonio - Consultant, Julieta S. Magallanes - Consultant and John Arvin S. Bernabe - consultant. The State Committee on Statistics was attended by specialists from the Department on Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts, the Department of Maintenance and System Service of Statistical Registers, and the Department of Living Standards Statistics and Population Surveys.
The training addressed to the issues of compiling and analyzing the tables of supply and use, input-output tables. An assessment was also made of maintaining a business register and conducting a household budget survey. Specialists of the State Committee on Statistics conducted general presentations on the above mentioned issues.
