On December 19, 2019, a training seminar was held at the Institute for training and statistical research at the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics with the participation of the heads of departments for agricultural statistics and ecology of the regional statistical offices.
At the training seminar were discussed issues on the work performed in accordance with the State Statistical Work Program for 2019 regarding agricultural and environmental statistics, as well as errors and gaps occurred in the reporting process, consolidation, analysis of statistical reporting forms, measures to eliminate, changes made to state statistical reporting forms, questionnaires for sample surveys and the Program of state statistical work in the field of agricultural and environmental statistics for 2020 and other.
Also, explanations were provided on the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5853 “On Approving the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030” regarding the agricultural census and considered plans for the future.
The report of the heads of departments for agricultural statistics and ecology of regional statistical offices was presented for 2019 in accordance with the State Statistical Work Program.
At the training, relevant instructions were presented to ensure the timely and high-quality fulfillment of tasks on agricultural and environmental statistics, indicated in the State Statistical Work Program.
