On September 10-14 this year in Tashkent, a training seminar on "The methodology of conducting a population census."

This training seminar was organized by the UNO Population Agency in Tashkent and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, which involved a highly qualified international census expert Jan White.

The seminar was attended by senior officials of the central apparatus of the State Statistics Committee, as well as territorial statistical offices, and representatives of ministries, departments, research institutes, educational institutions involved in the census.
