From 5 to 25 June 2018 in Beijing (PRC), a seminar was held to combat poverty in the framework of the "Sustainable Development 2030" program for developing countries. This seminar was organized by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, which was attended by representatives of various ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Dominican Republic, Jordan, Colombia, Cambodia , Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, Panama, Sudan, Suriname, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Southern Sudan.
U.Madaminov, Head of the Coordination Department of Samples of Household Surveys, participated in this seminar.
During the seminar the participants got acquainted with the information on poverty reduction in China: strategy, policy and practice. Also with the implementation of China's sustainable development program in 2030: the practice and experience, types and conditions of concessional lending to the poor.
Also, the seminar participants visited several companies in Beijing, Quanzhou
and Fuzhou - China development bank, innovative companies Zhiheng Technology Co. Ltd, Fuzhou Internet of Things Open Lab (FIOT-LAB).
