On March 12, 2020, in the State Committee on statistics, the seminar was held on the theme “Analysis of the structural average values and variation indicators”. The seminar was attended by employees of the central office of Goskomstat.
Z.A.Nuriddinov - a leading specialist of the Department of statistical studies on social issues of the Institute for professional skills upgrading and statistical research spoke at the seminar.
The main purpose of the event was to familiarize the seminar participants with the statistical significance of the structural average values, using for assessing of key indicators, reflecting the socio-economic situation in our country.
During the seminar, an exchange of views took place on the classification of structural average values and the characteristics of each average value, as well as on their usage in practice.
Also, the disadvantages of using the method of average values in statistical practice and the ways of solving this were thoroughly discussed.
