On May 5, 2020, in the State Committee on statistics, the seminar was held on the theme “Analysis of statistics on living standards of the population”. The seminar was attended by employees of the central office of Goskomstat.
Khujakulov Khaitmurod Djavlievich – professor of the Tashkent financial institute spoke at the seminar.
The main purpose of the event was to familiarize the seminar participants with indicators reflecting the living standards of the population and their economic significance.
During the seminar, an exchange of views took place on the direct connection of the human development index with indicators reflecting the demographic characteristics of the population, proportionality of incomes and expenditures of the population, income differentiation, poverty level and its limit, as well as measures that must be taken to improve these indicators.
An exchange of views also took place on the importance of reforms being carried out in the country to improve living standards and in reducing poverty.
