On February 20 of this year, an open dialogue took place between the leadership of the State Statistics Committee and students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers on the topic “Important socio-economic indicators and the openness of the country's statistical data”.
The event was attended by the leadership and employees of the central office of the State Statistics Committee, as well as the leadership, teachers and students of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, and media representatives.
The staff of the central office of the Goskomstat provided detailed information on this topic. In particular, in 2019, the volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019 amounted to 511.8 trillion. and increased by 5.6% compared to 2018.
