On June 27-28, 2018, a meeting was held in the city of Minsk (the Republic of Belarus) on the topic: "Measuring Migration and Labor Force in Censuses of the 2020 Round in the CIS Countries: Results of Trial Censuses." This event was organized by the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee and the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
In the meeting of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to statistics the head of the Department of Demography and Labor Statistics B.Shodiyev took part.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS, the United Nations Population Fund in the Republic of Belarus, and national statistical services.
The meeting considered such issues as the state of preparation for the population census, the results of the pilot population census, the calculation of migration and employment indicators based on population census data, the formation of indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals in the framework of the population census.
