On September 15, 2020, the UN Office in Uzbekistan organized a training on monitoring the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.
The seminar was attended by employees of the Department for International Cooperation and Information Exchange of the State Statistics Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the UN Office in Uzbekistan and international experts.
The training was devoted to the issues of monitoring the achievement of goals set by the Sendai Program for Disaster Risk Reduction, as well as filling in special questionnaires and including them in the database.
At the event, specialists from the UN Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction spoke about how to fill out special questionnaires as well as about international experience in this area.
