The volume of transit cargo transported (by road and rail) through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-June 2022 amounted to 3 476.6 thousand tons, of which 3 367.7 thousand tons were transported by rail (in relation to the total volume of cargo 97, 0%), automobile -108.9 thousand tons (3.0%).
In the II quarter of this year, the number of wagons that crossed the territory of the country amounted to 58,518 units, while the number of motor vehicles reached 6,647 units.
