Composition of board

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 21, 2020 No. 578 "On approval of the composition of the board members of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics" established the number of the board of 13 people, and also approved the following composition of the board of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

General information

In accordance with the Regulation on the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, in the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics (hereinafter referred to as State Committee on Statistics), there is a board consisting of the chairman of the State Committee on Statistics (chairman of the board), his deputies (by position), as well as heads of divisions of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics, coordinating the main directions of its activities.

The board considers the most important issues

The board considers the most important issues of the State Committee on Statistics system’s activities related to:

critical consideration of the main areas of activity of the state statistics system, determined by legislation, with the development of specific measures to further increase the efficiency of statistical activities, improve the functions and tasks of state statistics bodies at the republican and territorial levels;
consideration of proposals for the coordination and interaction of the work of the State Statistics Committee with other bodies of state and economic management, local government bodies in the implementation of the policy in the field of state statistics;
quarterly critical review of the performance of state statistical work;
Consideration of proposals on organizing the exchange of statistical information with statistical bodies of foreign countries, as well as submitting statistical information to international statistical, financial and economic organizations;
increasing the level of executive discipline, ensuring effective control over the execution of orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of timely and high-quality consideration of applications from individuals and legal entities, including those coming from the virtual reception room and people's reception offices of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the development of specific measures to solve pressing problems in the field of state statistics;
organization of extended field meetings of the board, with local discussion of topical issues of the activities of state statistics bodies, as well as the development and adoption of appropriate decisions to eliminate the problems encountered;
organizing, on a systematic basis, reviewing e the reports of the heads of the territorial bodies of the State Committee on Statistics and the Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel and Statistical Research, ensuring that their personal responsibility for the timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks assigned to them is increased.
