On November 24-27 ​​this year, in the departments of statistics of Andijan, Fergana and Namangan regions, events were organized to implement the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to effectively organize work in the country in the state language".

On November 27 this year, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics and the Institute for Advanced Training and Statistical Research held a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Enhancing the role of modern information and communication technologies in the collection, processing and dissemination of statistical data”.

On November 27 this year, the Department of Social Sphere and Sustainable Development Statistics of the State Committee on Statistics organized a meeting on the development of health care, physical culture and mass sports.

On November 26, this year, a video conference was organized with the assistance of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, together with the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on statistics and the National Institute of statistics and economic research of France.

According to the State Committee on Statistics, as of November 1 of this year, the number of enterprises and organizations working in the field of construction amounted to 40.3 thousand organizations and compared to the corresponding period of 2019 increased by 6.7%.

In January-October 2020, 1,255 new enterprises and organizations were created in the field of health care and social services; as of November 1, 2020, the total number of operating enterprises and organizations in this area was 8,953.

According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January-October of this year in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the volume of construction works performed under state ownership of enterprises and organizations amounted to 3.0 trillion

At a meeting on measures to improve national statistics chaired by the head of state on June 1 this year, the issue of human resources was raised, and instructions were given to train and improve the skills of all specialists of the statistical system.

In the cooperation plan signed by the Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan on gender equality and representatives of international organizations in the country, it is planned to hold the action "16 days of active action against violence" from November 25 to December 10, 2020.

According to Goskomstat's sample household surveys, the average household size was 5.2 people in January-September 2020.

In January-October 2020, 1,569 enterprises and organizations were created in the field of information and communication services. The total number of operating enterprises and organizations in this area as of November 1, 2020 was 9,214, an increase of 117.7% compared to the corresponding period last year.

According to sample household surveys Goskomstat, in January-September 2020 structure of households by the number of its members is: 3.2% of households consisting of one person, with 5.3% of households consisting of two people, 10.1% of households of three people, 19.5% of households of four people, 23.3% of households of five people, and 38.6% of households consist of six or more people.
