In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-May 2023, large enterprises produced 9.7 thousand tons of copper pipes. Compared to the corresponding period of 2022, the volume of production increased by 1.5 times.
In January-March 2023, the volume of construction work performed by small businesses in the Jizzakh region amounted to 625.7 billion soums, or 98.7% of the level of January-March 2022.
The economic reforms carried out in our republic serve the rapid growth of trade relations with foreign countries. In particular, the decisions taken to increase the export potential will allow local companies to gain more experience in foreign markets. Ultimately, they will have a competitive advantage in world trade.
Today, 69.6 thousand industrial enterprises operate in the republic, of which 11.5 thousand (16.4% of the total number of operating enterprises) fall on the city of Tashkent, 7.9 thousand (11.4%) - Fergana, 7.1 thousand (10.2%) - Tashkent, 6.2 thousand (9.0%) - Samarkand and 5.5 thousand (7.9%) - Andijan region
