According to the results of January-March 2023, the gross value added of industry in the Fergana region amounted to 2,303.6 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2022, increased by 1.4%, and compared to January-March 2019, by 6.4%.
As of June 1, 2023, the total number of operating industrial enterprises in our republic amounted to 70,611 units. (excluding farms and dekhkan farms), which is 6.8% of the total number of operating enterprises. Of these, 69,705 units. belong to small businesses.
In January-March 2023, the volume of industrial production by small businesses in the Jizzakh region amounted to 2414.3 billion soums, or 114.8% of the level of January-March 2022.

In January-March 2023, the volume of industrial production by small businesses in the Bukhara region amounted to 2327.2 billion soums, or 98.7% of the level of January-March 2022.
