According to preliminary data, in January - June 2021, 5.7 thousand tons of honey were produced in the republic, which is 101.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
High volumes of honey production were recorded in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 5.0 thousand tons or 88.0% of the total production.
The largest share in the total volume of honey received in the Republic fell on the Jizzakh region (15.6%), also high rates were observed in the Fergana region (14.9%) and Bukhara region (14.8%). At the same time, the lowest share was recorded in the Syrdarya region (2.4%).
