Official statistics are on the path to eliminating unnecessary procedures |

On June 17 of this year, in order to optimize the stages of public service delivery, prevent excessive burden on individuals and legal entities, fully establish digital dialogue between government organizations, the public, and businesses, and improve the effectiveness of reforms in this area, the National Statistical Committee held a practical working meeting of responsible staff from the Project Office for the implementation of the "Elimination of Bureaucracy - 2030" program and the introduction of innovations.
The meeting was organized in accordance with Decree No. F-68 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 28, 2025, "On organizational measures to enhance digital transformation and the effectiveness of public administration."
During the meeting, issues related to the analysis of existing workflows in the committee's activities, the reduction of unnecessary bureaucratic steps, the simplification of data exchange, and increased convenience for citizens and businesses were discussed.
Representatives of the project office explained the process for generating and reviewing proposals and evaluating the effectiveness of work carried out using the "Zero Bureaucracy" digital platform.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to reduce unnecessary procedures in the provision of government services, reduce the practice of repeated requests for information, expand the use of digital solutions, and develop proposals for implementation within the framework of the "Elimination of Bureaucracy - 2030" program.
This meeting will serve to improve the efficiency of work processes at the National Statistical Committee, ensure the effectiveness and transparency of statistical data preparation, and further improve the provision of convenient statistical services to the public, businesses, and government agencies.
