According to the State Committee on Statistics, in January-July 2021, Uzbekistan imported 2.5 thousand tons of cheese and cottage cheese from 21 foreign countries in the amount of USD 7.9 million.
Imports of cheese and cottage cheese in comparison with the corresponding period of last year increased by 1.1 thousand tons.
In the last 7 months of 2021, Uzbekistan imported the largest amount of cheeses and curd products from the following countries:
Russia – 1.1 thousand tons
Lithuania – 463.2 tons
Belarus – 425.1 tons
Germany – 137.1 tons
Turkey – 106.2 tons
Finland – 79.0 tons
Ukraine – 57.7 tons
Kazakhstan – 35.5 tons
France – 16.3 tons
Iran – 9.3 tons
Netherlands – 7.8 tons
Italy – 7.4 tons
