In January - July 2021, 40,340.0 million kWh of electricity were produced in the republic. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the volume of electricity production increased by 3382.4 million kWh, the growth rate was 109.2%.
Electricity production until 2021:
- in January 6,427.7 million kWh (growth rate 106.0%);
- in January - February 11,951.4 million kWh (104.3%);
- in January - March 17,987.4 million kWh (106.1%);
- in January - April 23,528.4 million kWh (108.5%);
- in January - May 28,809.1 million kWh (109.0%);
- in January-June, 34,318.6 million kWh (109.1%) were generated.
In the total volume of electricity produced by enterprises for the production of electricity in the republic, the Syrdarya region has a share of 22.9 %, the Tashkent region 22.8 %, the Kashkadarya region 19.3 % and the Navoi region 15.7 %.
