On July 21 of this year, the Anti-Corruption Agency hosted the first meeting of the Commission for Evaluating the Efficiency and Efficiency of the Conducted Work in the Field of Ensuring Openness.
This commission was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-6247 “On additional measures to ensure the openness of the activities of state bodies and organizations, as well as the effective implementation of public control” and is a body for reviewing the results of assessing the index of openness of state bodies and organizations, as well as making a final decision on the openness index.

According to the Decree, the commission, in addition to employees of ministries and departments directly involved in the assessment activities, included representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, as well as non-governmental non-profit organizations.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Department for Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal of the State Committee on Statistics, headed by Akrom Sultanov.

At the meeting, the action plan of the Evaluation Commission for calculating the openness index for 2022 was considered and approved.
Also on the agenda was a discussion of systemic shortcomings made by government agencies and organizations in ensuring openness and publishing open data sets for the last 6 months of this year.
The speakers discussed in detail the cases identified by the results of the study and remote monitoring, made suggestions and comments on how to eliminate them.
