Mutual electronic information exchange was established between the SIAT statistical integrated information system of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Geoinformation system of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-6079 on approval of the Strategy "Digital Uzbekistan-2030" and measures for its effective implementation, Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. PP-357 "On measures to raise the sphere of information and communication technologies to a new level in 2022-2023, Resolution No. 80 of February 27, 2023 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approving the statistical program for 2023" and Based on the tasks defined in the decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to effectively organize the implementation of the tasks specified in the strategy for the development of agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030" dated June 7, 2022 No. PQ-273, electronic exchange of agricultural information was launched between the SIAT statistics integrated information system of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Geoinformation system of the Ministry of Agriculture.
As a result of the establishment of mutual electronic information exchange between the SIAT statistical integrated information system of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Geoinformation system of the Ministry of Agriculture, an opportunity was created to receive a number of agricultural information electronically. In particular, according to him, electronic reception was launched by integrating information about land areas allocated for farming.
As a result of the establishment of mutual electronic information exchange between SIAT statistics integrated information system and Geoinformation system, it was possible to compare the received information with the indicators related to the areas of certain types of agricultural crops planted in the statistical report data provided by farms and organizations performing agricultural activities.
Prior to the introduction of information exchange, information on the land areas allocated for farming was received at the end of each quarter based on the request from the relevant ministries and agencies. As a result of the establishment of information exchange, it was possible to download information at the time needed for statistical analysis, rather than at the end of each quarter.
This, in turn, the fact that information exchange works in real time, without the participation of the human factor, creates a great basis for the rapid and high-quality implementation of statistical analysis.
In addition, the parties will carry out all necessary technical and improvement work independently or in mutual cooperation. In the event of errors and malfunctions, in cases where there is no access to the information system, the parties must take all measures to notify immediately.
During the development of the electronic information exchange system, the parties have the right to make changes to certain technical details by mutual agreement. In case of changes, the parties shall be notified of the changes. When there is a need to change the characteristics or content of the request and response, the parties will implement these changes in the working state in an agreed manner.
In the future, in order to further increase the scope and quality of statistical data on agriculture, measures will be taken to use the data on the basis of integration within the framework of the projects being implemented together with the Ministry of Agriculture on digitization of the sector.
