On July 3, 2024, a webinar on the content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 5, 2024 "On conflict of interests" was organized at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for employees of the Department of Management and Human Resources Development and the chief legal adviser of the statistical offices of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.
The event was attended by Farkhod Turaev, Deputy Head of the Human Resources Management and Development Department of the Statistics Agency, Botir Melikmurotov, Head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service, and Dilshodjon Ibragimov, Chief Legal Adviser, as well as employees of the Human Resources Management and Development Department and Chief Legal Adviser of regional statistical offices.
The procedure for notifying the responsible department in case of a conflict of interest in the recruitment process and in public procurement was explained.
Also at the webinar, employees were informed about the observance of labor legislation today by regional statistical bodies, the essence of the decision of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2024 “On measures to improve the activities of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” No. PP-114, understandings were given on the regulations developed today -legal documents on the fight against corruption and its prevention.
At the end of the webinar, detailed answers were given to the questions posed by the participants.
