According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2026, a total of 244.4 thousand citizens of Tajikistan visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
This indicator increased by 43.4 thousand people or 21.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Their distribution by purpose of the trip is as follows:
travel - 13.3 thousand people;
visiting relatives - 208.5 thousand people;
for service - 17.4 thousand people;
study - 483 people;
treatment - 3.8 thousand people;
commercial - 809 people.
