According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to April 2025, 2.1 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes.
This number increased by 404.5 thousand people or 23.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of Uzbek citizens who traveled abroad in January-April of this year, by purpose of trip:
visiting relatives – 1.7 million people
travel – 399.1 thousand people
treatment – 15.2 thousand people
study – 9.9 thousand people
official – 4.7 thousand people
