In January-September 2020, the total number of divorces from marriage registered in the registry office amounted to 19,970 and decreased by 15.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
An analysis of the number of divorces from marriage by the number of children shows that 49.8% of the total number of divorced families were childless, 29.6% had one child, and 20.6% had two or more children.
