According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan in current prices amounted to 1,303,702.1 billion soums and, compared to the same period in 2024, increased by 7.6%.
The growth of the industrial sector amounted to 6.8%, and the positive contribution to GDP growth was 1.7 percentage points.
Growth in agriculture, forestry and fisheries amounted to 3.6%, and the positive contribution to GDP growth was 0.6 percentage points.
The growth in the volume of construction work amounted to 14.2%. The positive contribution of the construction industry to GDP growth amounted to 1.0 percentage point.
In the service sector, the growth rate was 8.7%. Of these, trade, accommodation and food services grew by 10.6%, transportation and storage, information and communication - by 14.6%, and other services - by 6.4%.
