According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January–March 2026, the socio-economic situation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in figures was as follows:
permanent population — 38,382,685 people as of April 1;
consumer price index — 101.9% compared with December of the previous year;
gross domestic product increased by 8.7%;
industrial production increased by 8.0%;
construction works increased by 15.5%;
retail trade turnover increased by 25.4%;
market services increased by 16.1%;
foreign trade turnover increased by 2.7%;
agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased by 5.1%;
real total income of the population increased by 7.8%;
as of April 1, 2026, 487,098 enterprises and organizations were operating, excluding farms and dehkan farms.
