According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, 270.8 thousand tons of fish were caught in Uzbekistan between January and September 2026.
This figure increased by 5.8% compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
Volume of fish caught by region:
Tashkent region - 43.0 thousand tons;
Khorezm region - 38.4 thousand tons;
Jizzakh region - 32.8 thousand tons;
Bukhara region - 23.1 thousand tons;
Andijan region - 22.7 thousand tons;
Syrdarya region - 20.2 thousand tons;
Fergana region - 18.5 thousand tons;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 16.2 thousand tons;
Samarkand region - 15.9 thousand tons;
Navoi region - 14.7 thousand tons;
Namangan region - 10.4 thousand tons;
Surkhandarya region - 10.2 thousand tons;
Kashkadarya region - 4.7 thousand tons.
