In the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, a headquarters has been established to prepare for the population census in a test mode, which will be held from 1 to 25 November 2021.
The headquarters hosted a meeting of the working group on the work carried out to implement the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers №710 of November 11, 2020 “On measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”.
Representatives of this working group, consisting of responsible employees of the State Committee on Statistics and territorial statistical bodies, study schematic plans and maps of the settlements of in the district Yukori Chirchik.
The research examines the clarity of the boundaries of blocks and settlements, the establishment of street name signs, the numbering of houses and apartments.
Also, the citizens of the mahallas were given explanations on the essence and significance of the population census, its goals and role in the further socio-economic life of the country.
Similar events will be organized according to the plan in other regions.
For information: The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 «On measures for the preparation and conduct of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023» established that from November 1 to 25, 2021, a population census will be conducted in the Khojaabad district of Andijan region, Yukori Chirchik district of Tashkent region, Khiva city of Khorezm region and Yashnabad district of Tashkent city in a test mode.
