On April 15 of this year, a MediaTour to study the processes of Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) was held in the "Amir Temur" makhalla of the Termez district of the Surkhandarya region.
At the event, organized in the Termez district of the Surkhandarya region, members of the working group, consisting of supervisors and interviewers from the Surkhandarya region statistics department, acquainted the media with the process of Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS).
The main purpose of the MICS survey is to compare data on the living conditions of the population, as well as the results of the survey of women aged 15 to 49 years, the exact data on children under 5 years from their mothers or guardians and all data collected by the standard of living of the population, place of residence (city or village) and gender, at the international level on a national scale.
The purpose of this event is to collect important information on the socio-economic well-being of women, children and households in 726 makhallas of the country. Data collection from Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) will continue until July 31, 2021.
